The President of Russia Vladimir Putin appealed to legislature with a request to take into consideration the interests of wine makers in a new draft law regarding winegrowing and winemaking. The State Duma intends to adopt such a law in the final reading in April.
This theme was raised during the meeting of the Russian Leader with socially active members of the Crimea. One of winemakers claimed to Putin that all attempts to create specific condition for the branch had failed. According to his words the wine may be considered as made in Crimea in case of its import and bottling in Crimea.
«I, of course, will request the government and deputies of the State Duma to take into consideration the interests of domestic producers such as you are while adopting new laws», – the president declared. He stressed that the support was firstly needed to those winemakers who create new jobs in Russia, in this case in Crimea. And not to those who import wine materials and simply bottle them here.
The law on development of winegrowing and wine making in Russia may be adopted by the State Duma early in April – the State Duma press-service reported resulting the meeting of the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin and the Commissioner for the President on the rights of entrepreneurs Boris Titov. The message says that it was taken a decision to instruct profile committees of the State Duma to speed up preparation of the draft law so that to consider it in the second reading on April the 2nd and adopt it on April the 4th.
