Gazprom and Royal Dutch Shell have signed an agreement on technical conception development of Baltic LNG – Russian gas company reports.
The document specifies the start of the next stage of implementation of project Baltic LNG in which transition to the development stage of project documents in the FEED volume will be prepared. That means preliminary design study.
Royal Dutch Shell plc commonly known as Shell, is an Anglo-Dutch multinational oil and gas company headquartered in the Netherlands and incorporated in the United Kingdom. The company is engaged in obtaining hydrocarbons production, processing and marketing in more than 70 countries.
In 2017 Gazprom and Shell signed an agreement on forming a Joint Venture Company that would implement the project “Baltic LNG” and concluded a framework agreement with regard to joint researches on this project. Baltic LNG assumes construction of liquefied natural gas plant in the seaport of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region.
