The investment company MIROLUB and AFK Systema established a project company to start building the Eurasian Trade Logistics Center (ETLC) in Sheremetyevo Airport area.
The project is planned to have been finished and enter the investment phase before the end of this year.
The logistics center of ETLC is supposed to become a “white” corridor for all cargos arriving from the countries of the Eurasian continent including China and Vietnam.
The center will provide high-quality services not only to large international suppliers but also to medium and small companies including those working in e-commerce.
The 4-hectar warehouse complex, located 100 meters from Varshavskoye Highway, in Shcherbinka, can be integrated into the project too.
There is 3-km railroad access from the complex to the station of Scherbinka.
There are warehouses of 5,5 thousand square meters in total, including the climate-controlled ones of 3.5 thousand square meters in area, 5 heated hangars, each 330 square meters, a lorry service center, and office space on the territory.
The company “Sitronics-JAT” (Railway automation and telemechanics) is another joint project implemented with partners.
The project company was created to implement the tasks of import substitution of railway automation systems and teleautomatics (train traffic safety management system) approved by Russian Railways in May 2017.
Development of a Russian digital automation and telemechanics system is supposed to be finished by Russian scientists and manufacturers by the end of 2019.
Solving this problem will enable Russia to participate in the Eurasia project, i.e. the construction of the Beijing-Moscow cargo and passenger highway (the total amount of investment is $ 25 billion).
