Assignation of “Far-Eastern hectares” in the Buryat Republic and Trans-Baikal region requires making some changes in federal laws which list regions to which they apply. Agency for the Development of Human Capital in the Far East reports to TASS.

Earlier the president Putin signed a decree regarding transfer the Buryat Republic and Trans-Baikal region from the Siberian Federal District to the Far Eastern Federal District.

Beside this, the representative of the Agency noted that there was a ban in the law to assign plots of land situated on the natural reservations, national parks and other designated conservation areas. “Far Eastern hectares” are also not assigned within the limits of areas which are traditionally used by indigenous and low-numbered peoples of the North, Siberia and Far East” – the Agency noted.
